Hi, everyone! Today, I want to talk about the most important room in your home: The bedroom. Most people think that the most important space in a home is the kitchen, but here’s the important reason why it’s not: You sleep 1/3rd of your life, which means you’re in a bed 1/3rd of your life.
Here are the items you must invest in when it comes to your bedroom:
1. Mattress
Your mattress is vitally important to not just your home, but also your health. How you sleep at night can determine how the following morning, afternoon, and night is going to turn out.. An unsupportive mattress can make you groggy, sore, and sometimes even make you sick.
A supportive & comfortable mattress will not only make you feel amazing the next day but also provide long-term health benefits. The right mattress is proven to make you happier and make you physically feel better.
Additionally, a mattress isn’t just something you toss out after a year of use. It’s something that goes from home to home with you, and that’s utilized for years on end.
I have the c2 bed by Sleep Number, and it was one of the best investments I’ve ever made. It has truly changed my life for the better and has given me the energy and comfort I never had before! This is my 4th year with my mattress, and it still feels brand new 🙂 #SmarterSleep
A Sleep Number mattress gives you quality sleep, and quality sleep helps you live your life to the fullest. Since investing in this mattress, I’ve had the energy during the day to do what truly matters to me: My work & spending time with my family/friends. Oh, and I can’t forget that without this mattress, I wouldn’t be able to give the attention that my pup really deserves!
Do you have a sleep number mattress or are thinking of getting one? Let me know and I’ll answer any questions you have 🙂
2. Sheets
Many people overlook the quality of sheets and only go for the cheapest choice. This is such a common mistake when it comes to your bedding. Sheets are SO SO SO important. The wrong type of sheets can irritate your skin and affect your sleep routine. Additionally, the color of your sheets matters more than you think! Many people opt for darker colored sheets since they seem to attract dirt less than lighter sheets; however, this is completely false. Darker sheets get just as dirty as lighter sheets: you just can’t tell! I suggest investing in a lighter color, such as a light grey or white, so you CAN tell when it’s time to replace. Every three years is the average time it takes to replace your sheets and duvet cover.
Additionally, white or gray bedding can make your bedroom feel x10 more luxe and spacious. I suggest Sleep Number sheets as all their options are soft, breathable AND come with a SmartFit design meaning your sheets won’t pop off!
3. Art
Wall art or accents can make or break how a space looks. Bare walls may make a bedroom feel empty, depressing, and lack of character. I suggest investing in neutral-colored art for your bedroom, as neutral coloring is best for an area where you will be sleeping in. Art is always something you can invest in since it’s rarely touched and can be passed down through the years. Most importantly, art can be easily transported from home to home!
4. Air purifier
I know this is a weird one but hear me out …
An air purifier is vital to keep in your bedroom for health reasons. These devices can purify the air by trapping 99% of allergens such as dust, pet hair, mold spores, and bacteria. These are the types of allergens that cause congestion and keep you awake.
Additionally, air purifiers usually create white noise, which is often used as a sleep aid.
And there you have it! Those are the items you should always invest in when it comes to your bedroom. Do you have any of these items in your home? Let me know down below!

Agreed!! Other than these, the pillows are an essential part of your bedroom. Keep some extra pillows on your bed to make it look more comfortable.
