And keep an eye out for my second book, Shut the Front Door, releasing this Fall!

Hi, everyone! If there’s one surface I’m ALWAYS redecorating in my apartment, it’s definitely my coffee table. I am constantly redecorating as I get bored of decor SO easily. Does anyone else feel the same way? One weekend I’ll buy something, and the next weekend I’ll be selling it on Facebook Marketplace, lol!

Although I’m always redecorating my coffee table, I seem to always to stick to the same formula when designing it. If you want to recreate a similar look in your own home, check out my go-to formula down below.

A tall accent

I always like to add some element of height when it comes to the coffee table. A tall accent will make the surface feel grander & larger!

A small accent

In my case, I utilized a few small accents when decorating my coffee table. Small accents will help add character and will make space feel elegant while not over-crowding.

Something funky

If you’re not into unique decor, then you can definitely skip this step. Personally, I believe adding a unique statement separates your coffee table from the rest. It also helps leave an impression with your guests!

A candle

This is a timeless accent that can go with any type of interior style. Candles will always add a “homey” feel to your space.

Something live

Whether it’s a vase of flowers or a plant, something live will always make your space feel more lively and energized. No fear if you don’t want to go out spending money each week on flowers:  faux flowers will work just fine!

Stack of books

No coffee table should be left without some books. Books not only add an element of design to the surface, but it can also be a fabulous conversation starter when hosting guests.

The most important thing to remember is to make sure you’re not over cluttering your coffee table. It’s vital to make sure there’s still room for items such as food and drinks!

If you were to decorate only one thing in your living room, it should definitely be your coffee table. All coffee tables need to have some decor on it! There are no exceptions. This is a go-to formula for decorating a chic coffee table. #coffeetabledecor #coffeetablemakeover #smalllivingroomideas #livingroomdecor #livingroomideas

And there you have it! Does anyone else constantly redecorate their homes? Please tell me I’m not alone!

    Your not alone lovely…
This is the very reason I started
my_tiny_vignette on Instagram and now (still setting it up) Facebook.
My home is a constant ever changing landscape of vignettes that get tweaked, restyled, made over, refreshed, renewed and refreshed again.

You are definitely not alone – it is always energizing to recreate a space. This is, by far, one of your best blogs.❤️
