With COVID-19, or Coronavirus, spreading, more and more of us are starting to spend more time in our homes. But just because we’re home, doesn’t mean we’re immune.
Anything from outside can be brought inside whether that’s through your hands, phone, clothes, etc. Many people are only thinking about cleaning public surfaces, such as train seats and faucets, but don’t forget about cleaning frequently-touched surfaces and objects in your home ????Items such as:
- Tables
- Countertops
- Light switches
- Doorknobs
- Cabinet handles
can be cleaned using regular household detergent and water. Next, use a disinfectant wipe such as To-Go Clorox Wipes on applicable surfaces. I’m Clorox-obsessed and always keep these handy in my cabinet! I always pick some up at Bed Bath & Beyond in the travel aisle (always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all cleaning and disinfection products).
Instead of keeping these tucked away, place them in an area of your home you will frequently pass (and away from – child’s reach!) This will give you an easy reminder that it’s time to disinfect! It’s kind of funny because my friends used to make fun of me as the germaphobe … but now they are asking me for any extra wipes since many items are sold out in stores. SPEAKING OF: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t hoard items such as disinfectant wipes or sprays. Leave some product for other people who don’t have ???
The World Health Organization declared the rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak a pandemic. Please do your best to stay in your home and keep it as clean as possible xo
