Chelsey started City Chic Decor (EST. 2017), when she realized there wasn’t enough content on how to stylize and decorate a rented space. After exceeding thousands of visitors per month over many years, Chelsey’s blog eventually turned into her first book, Rental Style. Rental Style. under Skyhorse Publishing, was released in May 2020. It was the #1 new release in Interior Decorating and is currently sold at Barnes & Noble, Target, and Amazon. Her second interior book, Shut the Front Door, is released under Gibbs Smith in 2023.
In 2022, Chelsey founded Cherished by Chelsey, a meaningful home decor & keepsake line. One of her products, The Keepsake Case, recently received a patent and Cherished by Chelsey is the considered the most comprehensive keepsake brand on the market (globally).
Chelsey's third book, Make Yourself at Home, is releasing Spring 2025 under Gibbs Smith.
