E-Design is a decorating service offered by City Chic Decor that gives clients the opportunity to virtually design their space. Whether you’re revamping your existing space or starting fresh, this affordable, time-friendly service can assist you in making your interior dreams a reality.
01. IT’S AFFORDABLE
Many people have the illusion that design services will cost a lot of money. With us, you’ll pay a flat fee for each room or project, no matter how large or small it is!
2. It’s comfortable.
You won’t have to worry about cleaning up your space or taking time out of your day for multiple consultations. Once you fill out the questionnaire and send photos, videos, and measurements of the space, you can relax knowing that within two weeks you’ll have a complete style guide.
3. It’s on your time.
Once your plan is complete and you have the style guide, you can take as long you want to set up your space. You can move forward with the exact suggestions we send or use them as inspiration to find something else.

CHELSEY AND CARLY
Chelsey, the founder of City Chic Decor, is known for her unique approach to apartment decorating. Her first book, Rental Style, published in 2020, and her next book, Shut the Front Door, will be on bookshelves in 2023. Chelsey’s #1 mission is to prove that anyone can have the home of their dreams with a little bit of creativity and an even smaller budget!
Carly is Chelsey’s righthand woman. With over four years of staging experience in NYC, Carly’s second language is decorating smaller spaces.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. E-DESIGN IS AN ONLINE DECORATING CONSULTATION SERVICE ONLY. ALL RECOMMENDATIONS ARE REGARDED AS SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE LOOK OF YOUR SPACE AND NOT INTENDED FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES.
2. CLIENT AGREES TO PROVIDE FULL INFORMATION, INCLUDING CORRECT MEASUREMENTS, REGARDING THE CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROJECT.
3. E-DESIGN CLIENT AGREES TO CORRESPOND STRICTLY THROUGH ONLINE COMMUNICATION. CLIENT ALSO AGREES TO ADDITIONAL FEES OF $50 PER PHONE CALL.
4. WITH A STUDIO UNDER 400 SQFT, THE BEDROOM AND LIVING AREA ARE CONSIDERED ONE SPACE. ANYTHING OVER 400 SOFT, THE BED AREA AND LIVING SPACE WILL BE CONSIDERED TWO SEPARATE ROOMS.
5. CITY CHIC DECOR/CHELSEY BROWN LLC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MEANS, METHODS OR PROCEDURES OF CONSTRUCTION, FABRICATION, DELIVERY & INSTALLATION, OR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE E-DESIGN PROJECT; FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR OR ANY, SUBCONTRACTOR, SUPPLIER OR OTHER PERSON PERFORMING THE WORK ON THE E-DÉCOR PROJECT; OR, FOR ANY FAILURE OF THEM TO MEET ANY SCHEDULES OR COMPLETION DATES.
6. CLIENT UNDERSTANDS THAT E-DESIGN PROVIDES A DESIGN PLAN THAT HE/SHE WILL EXECUTE AND IMPLEMENT BY DOING ALL THE PURCHASING AND COORDINATING WITH THE VENDORS THAT IS SPECIFIED IN THE STYLE GUIDE. ONCE THE PLANS ARE DELIVERED, CITY CHIC DECOR/ CHELSEY BROWN HAS FULLY SATISFIED THE AGREEMENT AND IS ARE RELEASED FROM FURTHER OBLIGATIONS.
7. AFTER THE SECOND DELIVERY OF THE STYLE GUIDE, OR FIRST DELIVERY IF CLIENT DEEMS IT OK, THERE WILL BE 7 DAYS OF COMPLIMENTARY EMAIL SERVICE. AFTER THOSE 7 DAYS, NO MORE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED. ANY OTHER PROJECT ADVICE WILL BE $50 PER WEEK.
8. CITY CHIC DECOR/CHELSEY BROWN LLC PROVIDES ONE REVISION OF CLIENT’S STYLE GUIDE, PROVIDED THAT THEY ARE REQUESTED WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF DELIVERING THE FIRST STYLE GUIDE.
9. ALL ITEMS SPECIFIED IN STYLE GUIDE ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH ONLINE RETAILERS. CITY CHIC DECOR/ CHELSEY BROWN HAS NO CONTROL OVER THEIR STOCK AND INVENTORY OR FLUCTUATIONS IN PRICING. THEREFORE ITEMS MAY BE ON BACK-ORDER, DISCONTINUED, OR INCREASED IN PRICE BY THE TIME YOU ORDER. CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FINDING SUITABLE REPLACEMENTS. ANY FURTHER REQUESTS OR CHANGES BEYOND THE 7 DAY ALLOWANCE WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE AT A WEEKLY RATE OF $50 PER WEEK.
10. THE STYLE GUIDE MAY AT TIMES CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. AN AFFILIATE LINK MEANS THAT IF A LINK IS CLICKED AND A PURCHASE IS MADE, CITY CHIC DECOR/CHELSEY BROWN BE PAID A COMMISSION ON THAT PURCHASE. IT DOES NOT INCREASE THE PRICE OF THE ITEM.
11. THE STYLE GUIDE IS PRIMARILY LARGE ITEMS OF FURNITURE AND THE BASES OF A ROOM. THERE MIGHT BE SOME LINKS TO DECOR / ART BUT CITY CHIC DECOR/CHELSEY BROWN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE TO FILL THE ENTIRE SPACE WITH THESE ITEMS.
12. CLIENT UNDERSTANDS THAT THE E-DESIGN FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
13. CITY CHIC DECOR/CHELSEY BROWN CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING REPAIRS, REPLACEMENT OR FREIGHT CLAIMS FOR PURCHASES MADE IN CONJUNCTION WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR E-DÉCOR PROJECT.
14. CLIENT AGREES TO PLAY IN FULL WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE FINAL STYLE GUIDE (EITHER FIRST, OR SECOND) BEING SENT.
