My balcony makeover is finally here and I am SO excited to finally share it with you!

This entire project was completed within 5 weeks and came in at under $300. To be completely honest, I spread out the time so I could participate in the One Room Challenge, however, I bailed out once I realized how small of a project it was. In all honesty, I could have finished this project within 5 days.
Ok so now let’s get into the transformation and how I managed to stay under budget:
I knew I wanted a feature statement on the balcony and immediately thought of a swinging chair. I have NO idea why that came to my mind- it just did. Since I live in a rental, I wasn’t allowed to drill into the ceiling above me. The alternative was to get a chair stand which was easy, simple and cheap! The stand arrived within 2 days and was beyond easy to put together. The chair also arrived within 2 days and it was a breeze to hang. FYI: I needed to buy an extender since the chair was too high off the ground without one.
The next thing I did was order surface spaces. I wanted a surface space on both sides of my balcony due to the width of it. I opted with this small, yet boho side table from Pier 1 for the area with the swinging chair. It’s so chic and super durable for any weather condition!
This collapsible table is probably my favorite element of this balcony makeover. How cool is it?? I found it on Amazon for $99 and it was so easy to assemble. It’s the perfect addition to any small, outdoor space!
I knew I wanted to bring some inside out, which is why I knew I needed some blush and a bust out here. I already have 2 busts indoors, so what’s the big deal with getting just one more? LOL. I found this planter bust on Amazon and immediately fell head over heels with it.
The blush chair was from CB2 and, luckily, they were having an outdoor sale at the time I bought it. It’s the perfect tone of pink and I absolutely love it!
Since I wanted the balcony to feel like a tropical retreat, I knew I needed plants to make that happen. The floor plants came from Amazon, West Elm and TJ. Maxx. In total, they were only $50! (Disclaimer: I had two gift cards that helped with the price!)
So basically, once I thought I was finished with the makeover, I KNEW something was missing. I loved the hanging chair but knew it needed something else to make it “wow.” I went to Burlington Coat Factory one day and found this beautiful wreath in their outdoor section. I immediately knew it would be the perfect last touch to the balcony AND the hanging chair.

Thank you!!
Love this. You nailed it.
You did an awesome job on your patio! I agree that the table is a great find and so practical for that spot. Great job and so inviting!

So great! I love how you made the space look larger than it is, and it doesn’t seem like the photo angle is the only reason for this… I struggle with about the exact same size space but always land up bumping into things or not being able to put as many plants as I’d like i to the area… This is great inspo!
Really pretty ?There’s nothing like an outdoor carpet to hide fiberglass floors and make it look like an outdoor room (dud it too). I am lucky enough to have a 6’×9′ balcony/mini terrace
