Over the last few months, I had the pleasure of helping Sara design her NYC apartment. The used-to-be bland space completely transformed into a chic oasis.
GET THE LOOK
The interior style we aimed for was modern-meets-glam. To achieve this look, we mixed brass statements with subtle green & blush accents.
The main goal of this transformation was to keep everything as budget-friendly as possible. The entire apartment was designed through products from Amazon, Wayfair, and H&M. To keep costs down, we also tried to build furniture ourselves.
I wanted to keep the walls, the floor and a lot of the accents white, due to it being a smaller space. I honestly think my favourite element of the apartment is the area rug. It’s so chic!
Another one of my favorite elements is the bar cart. I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: Everyone should have a bar cart or tray in their home!
The blush accents add a pop of color in the mostly neutral-toned space.
The biggest challenge of the design was the bedroom. It’s so tiny! There’s really only space for a bed & nightstand. Sara utilized the space under her bed for extra storage and clothes.
Thank you, Sara, for letting me into your home and letting me help you transform space. It was so much fun to work with you!

Looks great. Where did you find an upholstered bed with room to store things underneath? Most of the ones I see have panels that come down too low. The ottoman is gorgeous too!
Have you tried Wayfair? They have some really good option!
We used wooden risers to make the bed taller for more storage room underneath.
Wooden risers were a specific choice because they match better with the floor (less noticable.)
Soooo nice!!
